Cleora C. Helbing papers, 1919

The collection consists of letters written by Helbing to Harris in which she reported on the home economics programs. There is also a cover letter in which Harris sends the reports as a circular to the public school officials, high school principals, and teachers of home economics. These were all written in December 1919.

Cleora C. Helbing was State Supervisor of Home Economics in 1919. Under the leadership of State Superintendent of Education T. H. Harris, Helbing visited the high schools of Allen, Clacasieu and Vernon parishes and reported on the home economics programs.
